Black Colonialists Album Vinyl Version Release

The empire strikes again. Black Vulcanite has crystallized its legacy in music and hip-hop by releasing a vinyl LP version of their latest record, Black Colonialists. This makes them the first Namibian Hip-Hop group to release a record on vinyl.

It’s been six exciting months since the album dropped, and now they have reached another milestone, with the assistance and visionary collaboration with Finland based Joonas & Royal Mint Records. It definitely feels like a new product has been released yet it’s a few months in trade. The record itself is a classic.Black Colonialists is heavily centred around Afrofuturism, “a literary and cultural aesthetic that combines elements of science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, Afrocentricity, and magic realism with non-Western cosmologies in order to critique not only the present-day dilemmas of people of colour, but also to revise, interrogate and re-examine the historical events of the past”. Conscious music trolls swear to intellectual organismic surges from listening to this record. With tracks like ‘Smooth as Mutha’ and ‘Clan of the Dragon Fist’ epitomizing that boom-bap rap and raw nostalgic Bronx feel; DJ's, vinyl collectors and selectors are sure going to appreciate this release.

With the crew now heading the continent as award winning and multi-album producing artists who are also molding themselves as solo artists, and entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry, its important to keep their brand relevant and fresh. AliThatDude has amassed fans from all over the world and has now released his highly anticipated solo project 'Stranger Things Have Happened'.

The vintage element of the vinyl speaks volumes, confirming that Black Vulcanite is well on its way on being a hip-hop hall of fame act. Fans can access the vinyl by:
